A Ruined Table

Anonymous asked: Any regrets this first year in college? Lay it out. (don't mention names)

not making this a part of my daily life. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRWPt4TnE7I

I mostly regret bringing old shit with me to school.  To be fair, I spent a lot of time reading asoiaf and drinking beer with my roommates instead of being a patient and conscientious person, but some things just aren’t as attractive as they used to be, especially after long periods of drama.  Besides that, I got to write a few really interesting papers and talk to a lot of interesting instructors, particularly the people I met from the history and ethnic studies departments. They just know how to lead your research in the right direction, which I thought was really rad, considering I was just a freshmen. I feel like I’m using way to many commas here, so whatever.

I guess my biggest regret from my first year in college was not recognizing right away how hopeless, and possibly pointless, occupy SFSU was.
